Favorite book/writer: I have many. Alice Munro, Paul Auster, Ishiguro, Edgar Allan Poe, Edward Albee, Shakespeare (who doesn’t love him?), Sophocles, Beckett, Kafka… and some Iranian writers you might not know. As for books—The Remains of the Day, for instance.
Favorite food: Kebab (Tursh), the way we make it in the north of Iran. I hope I can cook it for you one day. And salads—every kind.

Favorite food: I enjoy trying all kinds of food but beef brisket always makes me happiest!
