Molly McIntyre is a cut paper artist and illustrator based in Brooklyn, NY. Her work is inspired by the humor, frustration, and weirdness in navigating everyday experiences as an artist, woman, and mother. She has an MFA from Maine College of Art and a BFA in printmaking and book arts from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. While living in Philadelphia she co-founded the Padlock Gallery (2004-2010), and toured nationally with live video music project, Maple Rabbit. She has recently shown at Gallery 198, Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition, Woodside Heights Art Museum, and was included in the 2024 Everywoman Biennial at LaMaMa Galleria. She has participated in the Constance Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts residency program and Trestle Gallery studio residency program, and has received a NYFA City Corps Artist Grant.
